Mini crochet bag containing treasures – The Daily Evergreen

A simple project provides a great place to keep the crystals, money, trinkets you want near

These bags can be made with yarn scraps and a 4 millimeter crochet hook.

This crochet bag is super easy and simple. This is a beginner’s project that will have you leaving with more confidence than you had.

Consisting of just eight or nine steps, this project should take you just under an hour and a half depending on how fast you crochet. As a slow crocheter myself, it took me about 2 hours to complete, however, most crocheters finish this project in about an hour and a half.

For my project, I decided to make a big crochet bag for my crystals so I could keep them in my car.

As someone who has become more interested in astrology over the past couple of years, I like to keep a bag of crystals with me when driving for good luck and good intentions.

This project helped me create a whole new bag for my crystals. The bag is a liter size and the yarn I chose was a stretchy material to ensure it can hold the maximum number of items.

I used a 4mm crochet hook and scraps of thin yarn I had at home. It is perfect for a gift for a friend or for wrapping small items.

The bag can also be used for items such as jewelry, small trinkets and anything that is important to you.

So without further ado, let’s make the bag! Who knows, it might bring something important to you later on, and who would want to miss it?

Dimensions: 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide

Hook size: 4 millimeters

Duration: 1h30

Step 1: Line 1: Chain 70

Step 2: Lines 2 to 20: Double crochet in each stitch. To change rows, chain two more, turn the work over and continue to crochet in each stitch, starting with the second from the end.

Step 3: Creation of the bag: Fold the rectangle vertically so that it measures 35 stitches high and 20 rows wide. Single crochet 35 stitches to connect the two sides of the bag to create the seam. I recommend starting at the top of the bag and crocheting all the way to the bottom so there’s no leftover string.

Step 4: The other side of the bag: Repeat step three for the other side/seam of the bag and turn it over so the seams are on the inside.

Step 5: The chain: Chain 150 and sew the strings into the ends

Step 6: Weaving the string: On one side, between the 10th string on both sides, thread part of the string, then skip two rows on the left side and thread it through the bag.

Step 7: Finishing the chain: Repeat step six and skip two rows until the twine is fully threaded into the bag.

Step 8: Beads: Add beads of your choice to the strings to add weight and keep the bag attached.

These instructions conclude the Crochet Bag tutorial. Take advantage of your new bag to store important items. With each one’s unique touch, these bags can be used for any purpose.

So what are you waiting for? Make these bags for you, your friends and everyone. They are easy, elegant and most importantly, made by your own hands.
